All campus libraries of the University of Mpumalanga are accessible to all students, staff and guests of the University. Access control at the University Library and branch libraries require a valid UMP student / staff card issued in the current year of study. Students / staff who do not produce their student card, will unfortunately not be allowed inside the library. The library circulation staff is committed to serving library users by assisting with various functions related to the accessibility and circulation of library materials. These functions include assisting users with:

• General queries about the library use and guidelines,
• Services and resources available in the library,
• Loaning and returning of library materials, including materials borrowed through inter-library loans,
• Receipting overdue fines, etc..
